I love, love, love the sculpture chickens. They are hilarious! More things for me to lust after of course.
I don't wear shorts anymore. My legs are too white and I'm too chubby. Well, I might wear shorts in the midst of summer when nobody is looking and I'm just at home in the garden.
But today, I wore a sleeveless top! Yay!

But not with sandals, I swear.

Homemoma, there is no way i'd ever show a pic of the first shorts day. My legs are in need of a 5 gal bucket of lotion and a good sharp razor.

Claire, you are so nice. This time of year I need to try new things just to keep me sewing.
I've got the white chubby thing going too. Luckily my neighbors cant see me very well and the chickens didn't seem to mind. Sleeveless is good too.
Frugalmom, Umm... I'm happy for you. I wore socks today too, with my shorts and my muck boots. I was lookin good. ;-)

Warren, trust me, a pic wouldn't have been better, maybe mid July when I'm tan and lost my winter pudge. I'm glad the weather is nice where you are, this winter was a Mutha.
So I came rushing on over here because I thought there'd be a picture to prove this crazy claim of yours, but noooooooo. No picture. I love the thought of you in shorts with socks and muck boots. I coordinate my outfits *just* like this, too. :-)

HA!! We Michiganders are crazy! Any excuse to run around half naked in weather most people would hide under a blanket in. Go Michelle! (btw, were they pj shorts?!) ;)
Where's the picture?
I always have a dilemma regarding the first wearing of shorts---Will the bright white of my legs blind anyone? Should I expose the legs to some sun in the privacy of my own yard, before showing them to the world?????

Farm mom, it's so true. After being clothed head to toe for 6 months makes that sun irresistable.
They weren't pj shorts but they were my old red wings shorts that the elastic waist band dry rotted years ago. I have to bunch them up and use a pony tail holder to keep them from falling off. Btw-I looked HOT!
