We had a beautiful winter weekend, sunny skies, temps in the 30's, it is one of those weekends you are glad to live in Michigan. Two nieces and one nephew stayed over Saturday night so we had to break out the sleigh ride.
Here is my niece as she crashed and burned.
It doesn't matter how many times they fall and get their faces planted into the snow, they keep coming back for more.
The Banditos waiting their turn, attack, throwing snow on the passers by.
My turn.
To the left you'll see the dog who escorts you on the entire ride, kicking up snow and looking mighty viscous.
And when you tell the driver to go a bit slow so you can get pictures, he hears, "Go faster and try to knock the old lady off!"
Front view. Dog tushie.
Back view. Happy girl.
Side view. Dog who sleeps the rest of the day.
That is a big hunk of snow flying at me. No respect for the camera or the woman who gave birth to you.
I like how the windows looked like a mirror to the woods behind.
T-Bone will hop into any vehicle when you say "Lets go for a ride."
Shadow is trying to hide the stow away and take him home.
I hope you all had a safe, fun weekend too!

too much fun! And here we were, briefly contemplating the pool yesterday.
You guys look like you had a BLAST! But tell me...is that a Christmas wreath still hanging on the front of your house? :-) LOL
Thanks Sarah for rubbing that in.
And Farmgirl, a Christmas Wreath! Don't you recognize a St.Patricks Day wreath when you see one. I actually had to run to town and saw at least a dozen wreaths still up. In my defense, I did unplug it in January and in this neck of the woods we forgive holiday items left out if they require a ladder, haven't had a warm weekend or until Easter, whichever comes first.
Well, now, that's a good point. I never even considered it possibly a St. Patrick's Day wreath. I have an Easter wreath, so why not? :-)

Oh gosh! That got me giggling.
I think it's great that you get out there and have a blast with your kids, even if that makes you an easy target for your kids! hahah
That dog Shadow sure has some long hair on his paws. Reminds me of a Clydesdale's hoofs!
And I love the photo of the 'mirror' windows, Pretty!
Oh! And for the 'Christmas Wreath' on your garage: Do like farmgirl did, and just hot glue some pretty wooden eggs to it....just in time for Easter! hehe
I love your egg wreath farmgirl. And i am eggcited about your new chicks. And twinville, I couldn't believe my boy was throwing a chunck of snow at me, even after giving him the look. That sleigh ride is so dang fun, I just made hubby crack my old lady back and felt good as new. You should see Shadows hairy feet when they have the Ice Balls stuck to them! Funny.
