I'm better, thanks.

Thank you, wise women who calmed me down on my previous post.
I figured out a schedule, it seems to be working.
The house is still standing, the family seems fed and happy.
And this week i made....

Twelve new bags, plus 2 more started and waiting.
One is going to a niece for her 10th birthday, she said she wants to start a collection of purses made by her relatives. Is that the cutest thing ever!

I finished 16 tissue packs and 15 more are started and waiting.

I also made a toe sock chicken.

It is mostly hand stitching so I worked on this and the tissue packs in the car during the boys' soccer practice.

I love that face.

The problem I have is that toe socks are hard to find, so there may not be a lot of these guys.

At quitting time today, I stepped out to greet the bus and all the chickens were by the porch...

....under a bush....

....and under the Honeysuckle.
What were they hiding from?

These two scary ducks.

What a bunch of chickens.

On the walk home from the bus,
our "Indian Dog" was on the trail of some small creature.

Yes, I said "Indian dog."

He is part of the Blackfoot Tribe.

Have a great Memorial Day Weekend.

Love the chicken. And I can say, as a toe sock lover, they are hard to find. You can get them easier online than you can in the store. My husband has a coworker from Korea who brings them back for me every time he goes home. I love them.

On another note, I received my pkg from you. It is fabulous! Thank you so much. And the little extra you tucked in there for me.....that was super thoughtful. And I was cracking up as well when I opened it! Matches perfectly to the bag I have on my wish list. I made sure to show it to hubby and remind him how nicely it will fit with my bday bag.

'Blackfoot Tribe"!!! BWAHAAHAHAA!
You're such a crack up, girlfriend.
Did my eyes deceive me, or does he also have a cool little black ring at the base of tail??
What a cute pup!

I'm admiring your fat and fluffy hens, too. I can't remember. How old are they? My girls are only about 8 months old so are still teenage-looking in size. I can't weight to get that 'Motherly Hen" look.

Your bags look terrific by the way. And that sock chicken is just adorable! I think I saw some of those toe socks at Dollar Store in town, too.

Thanks frugalmom, I looked everywhere, dollar stores too, I'm hoping in the fall there may be some.
Thank you for the order and your welcome for the gift. It is a one of a kind thats for sure.

Twinville- We always say that when t's feet are muddy. It isn't a ring around his tail but a large spot that goes mostly around. We adore that pup.
My americaunas are 2+ and my wyandotts were last years spring chicks. Since our winters can be harsh, I usually get the heavy breeds.
