sort of busy day

Third day of school, 1st day cleaned house(needed it), second day made kick a** bbq ribs dinner for our anniversary, so today I figured I'd better work. I have a show coming up at the end of the month.

So I make this tote bag and am happy and proud untill I realize I forgot the magnetic snap closure. Crud, do I accept that it is now a bag with no closure? I can't. Trusty seam ripper to the rescue. Put magnetic closure in, pin the 2 sides together, re-sew the bag closed or so I thought. My bobbin ran out of thread after about 2 inches and I didn't notice. How long have I been sewing? Re-pin the bag again! Sew for real this time, turn right side out and top stitch again. End result, bag looks good, seamstress is frazzled. Speaking of popcorn, am I the only "grown up" who eats popcorn with your tongue, straight from the bowl. I could say it's so I don't get the keyboard buttery, but it would be a lie.

The other photo is a crochet rag rug I am working on. I included my foot so you could see the size I'm at. I just now checked to see if my foot was dirty so I could erase the picture before it's too late. I sometimes go outside barefoot so you never know. My hubby doesn't get the barefoot thing. Inspite of that we are deeply in love.

I'm wondering how many months it will be untill someone out there actually reads this blog. I'm hoping by Christmas. My sister doesn't count.

I've got an hour till the bus, then make dinner, then soccer practice, then much much later hot passion with my man. I hope nobody reads this, "This gal's an idiot!"
